Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)

Most SMEs do not have the time, budget, or personnel to monitor and respond to cyber threats 24/7.
As an MSSP, we take over detection and response entirely.

What is an MSSP?

A Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) monitors, detects, and responds to cyberattacks on behalf of your organization. This happens during, but also outside of, office hours.

With an MSSP, you gain access to a complete Security Operations Center (SOC) without having to recruit or train specialists yourself. This saves a large upfront investment and relieves the pressure on the capacity you would otherwise need to free up as an organization.

When you are a client of ours, we periodically review how our services are performing, whether things can be improved, and what is going well. We do this through our CyberCheck-In. In addition, our clients know exactly what they are paying for thanks to our proprietary MDR dashboard. With it, we strive for transparency toward our clients.

Peakproteqt is an MSSP and facilitates monitoring of your devices, servers, network, and employees. In the event of suspicious activity, we can intervene immediately to reduce the impact of a cyberattack. This way, you maintain control over your security, even outside of office hours.

Difference from a regular IT service provider

IT service provider
Manages infrastructure, workstations, and networks
MSSP
Focuses exclusively on cybersecurity and everything related to it
Collaboration
We complement each other: an MSSP does not replace your IT partner

Our MSSP services

As an MSSP, Peakproteqt deploys three services to continuously protect your organization. They complement each other: detection without response is useless, and response without insight into vulnerabilities comes too late. Below is an explanation of each service and what we do for you

Managed Detection & Response

Our SOC analysts monitor your network, endpoints, and cloud environment in real time. Suspicious activity is identified within minutes and immediately isolated if necessary.
This keeps the impact of an attack contained.

SOC-as-a-Service

Access a complete Security Operations Center (SOC) without the need for additional staff, training, or 24/7 monitoring.
Your own SOC, without having to build one yourself.

Vulnerability Management

Periodic scans for vulnerabilities in systems and software, with prioritization based on risk and concrete patching advice. This way, you know exactly which vulnerabilities require attention first.

Why companies choose an MSSP

Three reasons we frequently hear from clients who use an MSSP.

01

No need for an in-house security team

Staffing an internal SOC costs an average of €500,000 per year, and finding the right people is difficult. With an MSSP, you get immediate access to a team of certified specialists (CISSP, CySa+, SC-200).

02

Security monitoring, even outside business hours

Cyberattacks occur more frequently at night, on weekends, and during holidays. Precisely when your IT team is off duty.
Our services monitor your environment continuously, even outside of business hours.

03

Be prepared for a rapidly changing threat landscape

The threat landscape is evolving rapidly: in 2025, Kaspersky researchers detected an average of 500,000 new malware files per day, a 7% increase from the previous year. Our SOC ensures we detect the latest threats and stay ahead in a fast-changing threat landscape. Without any effort on your part.

What our clients say

We have been incredibly well helped by Peakproteqt. After a thorough analysis of our existing ICT situation and our requirements, we received a great proposal tailored to our organization. Everything has now been implemented, and our digital work environment is working to our full satisfaction. In terms of ICT, cloud management, cybersecurity, and network management, Peakproteqt takes the entire burden off our shoulders. This gives us peace of mind and works extremely well for us.
Thanks for delivering all the IT services and securing my workstation (the password manager is ideal!). In my view, Peakproteqt has a lot of expertise, patience, and they can explain everything they do in plain English, which builds trust! I'm happy that everything is taken care of!

What does it cost to work with an MSSP?

That depends on the number of workstations, servers, and users you want us to monitor. We work with a fixed monthly fee, so you know exactly where you stand. The only thing not included in the monthly fee is the one-off project cost to set up our service for your company.

Compare that to the cost of downtime during a ransomware incident, and the amount pays for itself. After all, you don't want your business to grind to a halt.

You also don't need to worry about finding, hiring, and training security specialists. We take care of that for you.
